Start a Byte option allows you to record your screen in just a few clicks. It’s ideal for showing workflows, explaining a bug, or creating short tutorials for your teammates. Once you finish recording, your video is automatically saved in your library — ready to preview, annotate, or share.

🛠️ How to Use

📸 Open the quick capture bar

🖱️▶️ Click the recording option to begin setting up your screen capture.

🖥️🪟📑 Choose what to record:

  • 🖥️ Entire screen
  • 🪟 Specific window
  • 📑 Selected tab

🔴▶️ Confirm and start recording 👉 Walk through your steps, show the issue, or explain your workflow.

⏹️ Press the stop button when you’re finished recording.

📂⚡ The recording is instantly saved to your library as a Byte.

👀✏️💬 Preview, annotate, add notes, or share the Byte with your team.

💡 Tips

  • Choose between full-screen or window recording. You can also include your voice or webcam for clearer

  • Use screen recording when a static image isn’t enough to explain a process.

  • Keep your Byte short (under 2 minutes) to make it easier to watch, share, and get feedback.

  • Record only the window you need to keep the focus clean.
